Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    All found in H4. Very excited at the prospect of some nuts, got a bit bargey. No issues though. Trough good but getting pretty full of duff, will come back next week and fish some out

    On closer inspection they all look happy and well




    Fail! 11.00-12.00...A thorough traipse around the reserve but clearly not thorough enough, no doubt hiding from the squally showers.

     All seen a little after Chris moving slightly. Lots of nice grass in the area which they were enjoying





    All seen Tuesday at 10.15am at J7, on sandy path 50ms from entrance by the sail centre

    All seem fine.  Eagles red spot on abdomen looked OK.

    All seen 11am in I7

     All seen this morning. Initially number 164 was a bit further away but she came over.

    146 came and said hello

    Eagle has a slight red area as noted before right side low abdomen..he seemed fine.

    4.30pm - a miserable looking foursome found sheltering from the downpour under the beeches in B7. A slight graze/red area at the bottom of Eagle's dewlap/brisket (bovine anatomy isn't my strong point) but otherwise all well.

    All seen at 3pm in H4

     All out in the open. Seemed frisky this afternoon




    10.45am - Recent footprints led me me into the scrub off the path in L4. Looking good though plenty of small ticks after only a week.
