Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    All had a fair few flies around their face, but otherwise all fine.

     Initially seen from over the bushes but Ziggy took an opportunity so I had to go through the gorse to get him back and got a slightly closer photo.

     All seen again !! I think a girl might be in season as they where very frisky.

    All found happy and healthy on the track in front of the ammo dump. No issues. Trough good

    Spotted a white tail and found 146 and then everyone else in K4/J4 10.30 today

     Ziggy definitely had a scent but when we walked along the track they must have been in the bushes. Looked back and spotted a tail and bottom!!  Got dragged through the gorse and found them all looking fine

    All 7 seen this afternoon and looking well

    All seen 10.30 in E9. 146 eye looks fine

     Much easier to see than when Chris saw them! All look fine. 1640 came and said hello.

    All seen at 8.30am today from C10 to E9

     After a bit of searching I found them all strung out in the dense woods from the water trough to entrance at the tarmac road.  Couldn't get in to check them all, but seemed OK.

    All found happy completely oblivious to the many soldiers playing war around them. All the herd have got quite a few ticks but they don’t seem to be bothered.
