Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Monday 31 July 2023

Monday 31st July all found eventually!

Found Thor on his own in K5 first mooing. By the time we found our way out of the bushes and mud he had found the others on the path I3/J4

Lots of flies still. All looking good. It seemed like Sally was waiting for Thor to catch up!

Friday 21st July - Grazing Team Vist and Fly Spray

    Hi,

I've come to give the cattle their fly treatment, they should be less bothered by the flys now. All 8 are looking well and filling in nicely! I found them in C8.

Took me a little bit to find them as they were hidden away in the forest line.

I've been swept away with hay making but I will come and put some new looker posters up to recruit some more of you soon!

Thank you for keeping an eye out for them!
