All seen in K3 16.4& in the rain..all grazing

 

All seen 11.45 scattered over I3/I4and H3 and the seen on way back in F3 looking fine

 

4 seen in D6/7 at 12.30

 1669, 1626, 211 and 197 seen. I think the others may have been in the bushes but could not find them

All seen today at 10.30am near the ammo dump - all seemed fine

All found over the end opposed to the ammo dump. Looking well and couldn't see any issues.

4 seen in G4 11am..tried very hard to find the other 4 but couldnt

 Lots of tracks an poo in area so I think the other 4 were close

I found 5 cows first thing this morning in C5/C6

All that I saw seemed fine, still a little dark at 7.45am so couldn't spot the other 3 

Seen in E9 this morning..raining so water around

 Hi Chris sorry I don’t seem to be able to reply to your post. The area that I saw the cows in yesterday had some puddles with broken ice/access to water. They were eating grass and gorse that had snow.ice on it so I am hoping they get some water from that

Will try and get to the trough.

IMPORTANT - please check trough in freezing weather

Thursday update. 

Trough has been cleared of ice and is running. Please make sure to check clear access to water in freezing weather. I checked the flooded area near the lake but it was frozen solid and I couldn't find any evidence that the cows have been drinking from it. If you do, please post a picture and location if possible but please don't assume. 

If anyone is unsure, the trough can be found in the woods in the southwestern corner of the site near the A327, section C10 on the site map. It is well hidden so you may need to search around under the trees.

I've left a stick in the trough (pictured) to aid in breaking up the ice. Hoping for warmer weather over the weekend!
