The four ponies were grazing in the area around ///film.indicate.poses at 11:15 this morning. They were all happy and relaxed. They came over one by one to say hello and to receive a head rub. They were all very friendly. They soon got back to grazing, munching on heather and gorse.
While the stripey nosed pony's face was looking much better today, it appears the issue may have spread to the back of her ears. Close up photos of her ears and the three ponies faces have been shared with the owner, Nicky. The other two ponies were showing signs of improvement, which was great to see.
The seven cows were all eating deep in the gorse bushes behind where the ponies were grazing. They were all happy and looking well. They, too, were friendly, with several coming over to say hello. After a while, the ponies wandered through the gorse bushes close to where the cows were grazing, before wandering off in a north-east direction. The cows continued to eat lots of gorse.
I broke and removed all the ice from the trough. I also broke the ice on numerous puddles and part of the little stream close to where the cows and ponies were located. They had plenty of drinking water available.
The cows and the ponies were all good today.
