Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Wednesday 6th March - All 4 seen

The ponies were grazing in the area around ///bricks.kitten.grief at 15:15 this afternoon.  They were a little unsettled to begin with, but soon started to relax.  The army was conducting a large training exercise in an area around the ammo dump, with lots of gunfire.  They would occasionally stop and look over in that direction.  The ponies were all very friendly and came over to say hello.

Over the next 45 minutes, the ponies continued to graze in a big loop, heading east to the main path before following it down to the entrance by the lake and wandering through the trees, before returning to where they started.  They obviously sensed the army was done, so wandered over to the area around ///jammy.cries.bland, where they started to rest in the warm sunshine. The striped nose pony was happy to receive a long, relaxing head rub, to the point where she was struggling to keep her eyes open. After a while, the ponies wandered over to the ammo dump, where they started to graze again. They were all happy, relaxed and looking well.

It was nice to meet fellow looker Howard today.

The ponies were all good this afternoon.
