    Tue 24 Sept 24 (14.50 - 15.20) 6 out 8 Ponies Spotted.

At 14.50 I spotted 3 ponies grazing just off the track in the open ground in D7.  No sign of any other ponies with them or anywhere else south or west of the access road & compound.  All three eventually joined me on the track for a stroke.  After about 15 mins I started walking up the track towards the compound.  The tree ponies followed me and I stopped a few times for more strokes.  The selected to head east around the southern edge of the compound.  I went ahead and found another three ponies at the junction of tracks at the north end of F6.  After a few minutes the original three ponies joined us.  After a few minutes they all followed a vague path through high, thick gorse and headed north.  I did not follow.

They all,  (6 I saw) appeared to be happy grazing and moving freely.

    Sunday 22nd September - All 8 seen

The ponies were all found in the area near ///yoga.relies.solids at 16:00 this afternoon. Despite the frequent rain showers, several were still grazing out in the open. They quickly came over to greet me and happily accepted some strokes. Although a bit damp, they all looked great. The others were sheltering from the rain in the thicket, enjoying the leaves and long grass. As soon as they heard my voice, they emerged from the bushes to say hello. They were all friendly, happy and very relaxed.

Polly was grazing a little further southwest, deep in the bushes. I could hear branches snapping, but couldn't see her at first. After calling her name a few times, she came bounding through the thicket, softly nickering as she approached. Polly was very affectionate, giving me head rubs and nuzzles before fully emerging from the bushes for a long neck rub. It was a real joy to spend time with her today.

The ponies continued grazing but frequently came over for more strokes and rubs. The girls all looked really well. I said my goodbyes just after 17:15, and as I reached the main path, I noticed several ponies had cut through the thicket and were gathering a bit further up the path to the west.

I also remembered to bring a hammer and was able to properly secure the top rail of the fence by the car park entrance gate.

The ponies were all good today.

    Sunday 22nd 7 seen in L2/3/4

We could only find 7.  First 4 in the open area. The other 3 deep in the bushes. Polly came out to say hello covered in gorse.

Tried very hard to find 8th which i think was Davinia didnt find her but suspect she was deep in the bushes.

    Look fine

    Saturday 21st September - All 8 seen

I received a lovely welcome when I entered the site through the car park gate at 15:20 this afternoon. All eight ponies were gathered nearby, relaxing in the shade. One by one, they came over to greet me, happily enjoying ear rubs, neck strokes and back rubs. The girls were especially friendly today and looked gorgeous.

I noticed that the top rail of the fence by the entrance gate had come loose. I managed to temporarily secure it back onto the post, but it will need a hammer for a proper fix.

By 16:10, the ponies had started grazing along the sides of the path. They took frequent breaks to come back over and see me, enjoying lots of attention. They were all happy, relaxed and looking very well. After a while, some ponies started to rest, while others wandered into the thicket to graze. Those resting were happy to receive back rubs as they basked in the warm sunshine. Every time I thought about leaving, another pony would emerge from the thicket to spend more time with me.

I said my goodbyes just before 17:00, but one pony followed me all the way to the gate, as if she didn’t want me to go. I spent a little extra time with her, giving her more strokes before I had to leave.

The ponies were all good today.
