Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Saturday 13th July - All 2 seen

The ponies were happily grazing in the area around ///noon.trudges.candy at 14:20 this afternoon.  They both came and met me as I was wandering down to see them.  The girls both said hello and received the first of many ear rubs.  They seemed pleased to have some company.

After both receiving long neck and back rubs, they got back to grazing in the surrounding area.  They would take it in turns to come over and receive more strokes.  The girls were both happy, relaxed and looking really well.  They enjoyed lots of fresh grass and the occasional bit of gorse, reaching the area around ///showed.solutions.park by 15:30.  While they were both off eating, I spotted a large rusty nail and a chunk of metal in the surrounding area, which I've removed from the site.

A short time later, the ponies reached the stile by side entrance to the army base.  I took a seat on the step and Polly came over for another long neck and head rub.  As soon as she'd had enough, Davinia came over for the same.  They were both very friendly today, and it was a pleasure to spend some quiet time with them.  I said my goodbyes at 16:00 with them both grazing in the surrounding area.

The ponies were both good today.
