Polly was enjoying lots of long grass in the area around ///locals.joined.aliens at 17:15 this afternoon. She quickly came over to say hello and received the first of many head rubs. While I was stroking her, I looked around for Davinia. After a good five minutes, I heard a neigh in the distance and stepped back onto the grass track. Davinia was a long way to the northeast, but after seeing Polly and me, she galloped to come join us. She immediately came and said hello and received a neck rub, while she rested. That's the first time I've ever seen them apart.
The ponies alternated between grazing and coming over to be stroked for the next hour. They were both very friendly, and enjoyed lots of ear, neck and back rubs. They wandered west along the side of the path, before turning north away from the ammo compound, before coming back towards the compound down the opposite path. The girls were both happy, relaxed and looking well. At 18:20, Polly took a break and stood under the large tree around ///shut.retailing.alpha. She thoroughly enjoyed a long back rub, giving me lovely head rubs when we were done.
Just before 18:45, the ponies wandered anti-clockwise around the ammo compound and stated to graze around ///shirts.hinted.dries. I said my goodbyes at this point. As I was walking away, they wandered off to the southwest.
The ponies were both good today.
