    Monday 27th May - All 2 seen

I didn't even have to go looking for the ponies this afternoon.  They were both grazing around ///blogs.liner.credit at 16:55, and just after I came around the bend from the entrance gate, they saw me and came to meet me.  They were both happy, relaxed and looking really well.

The girls were both super friendly, and were delighted to have some company.  Davinia thoroughly enjoyed a twenty-minute head and neck rub.  Whenever I stopped for a rest, I was gently nuzzled to continue.  Polly enjoyed a long double ear and neck rub.

At 17:45 the girls started to graze, enjoying lots of fresh grass from the side of the path.  They slowly followed the path northwest towards the ammo compound, coming over regularly for more attention.  I said goodbye at 18:00, having walked with them for most of the way.  It was lovely to spend some quiet time with them today.

Davinia has a little chip in her front left hoof.  Polly's leg was looking good today.  She had some antiseptic spray applied at the start of my visit, but I didn't apply the gel as there was a chance of some showers this evening.

The ponies were both good today.

    Thursday 23rd May - All 2 seen

The ponies were found grazing in the thicket around ///inert.keepers.when at 18:00 this evening.  They were both happy, relaxed and looking really well.  They were both very friendly, and immediately came over to meet me and say hello.  While one was grazing, the other was happy to stand and receive a long head rub.  They seemed really happy to have some company and someone to make a fuss of them.

The ponies stayed in the same area, mostly eating grass from around the bushes, but occasionally having some gorse.  They would frequently come back over for some strokes.  I reluctantly said good night to them at 19:00.

Polly's leg was looking good tonight.  She has had some more antiseptic spray and some gel applied to her cut.  Afterwards, she was absolutely fine.

The army had an area fairly close to where the ponies were grazing cordoned off for some training they were doing.

The ponies were both good this evening.

Saturday 18th May - All 2 seen - more metal removed from the site

I couldn't initially find the ponies this afternoon, despite a good look around the site.  It did, however, allow me to continue my search for metal and do a spot of litter picking.  I carried out a good search of the large central pasture of the site, but didn't find anything of any real significance metal wise.

After finishing, I went for a long loop of the site looking for the girls.  When I got to the area around ///flock.poses.backdrop, I discovered two clumps of metal wire which I pulled out of the ground.  I also found a large, sharp, rusty piece of metal lying on the ground close by.  All three items were moved to the outside of the perimeter fence.

I was delighted to discover the ponies grazing along the side of the path around ///trendy.woof.essay at 14:40.  Both were happy to see a familiar face and came and said hello.  They were happy to stand and receive ear and head rubs.  There were a fair few flies around today, but they weren't bothering the ponies too much.  The ponies slowly followed the path towards the ammo compound, munching on grass and leaves from the bushes.

The ponies had reached the area around ///claw.twigs.hexes to the southeast of the compound by 15.15 where they continued to graze.  Both of them came for another head rub before I said goodbye to them about ten minutes later.  They were both happy, relaxed and looking well.

Polly has had more antiseptic spray applied to her leg.

The ponies were good this afternoon.
