Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Saturday 20th April - All 3 seen

The ponies were all happily grazing in the area around ///gasp.pounce.asterisk at 14:25 this afternoon. They were all happy and relaxed. There were a fair few flies around today, but they weren't causing the ponies too many issues. The ponies were all very friendly, with each stopping to come over and say hello. They all received long head and neck rubs. I started looking for any metal objects that might have been responsible for Polly's cut, while doing a bit of litter picking, and the ponies all followed me. They were willing helpers for about twenty minutes, when they decided it would be more fun to eat. They stayed close though and followed me all the way down to the area around ///brilliant.hill.goes before following me all the way back. I said goodbye to them at 16:00. The ponies were all good today.
