When I first saw the ponies this morning, they were trying to dry off under the trees by the entrance near the car park. Judging by how wet they were, it was clear they'd been out grazing in the rain earlier. Once the rain stopped, they came out and began grazing along the main path before turning southwest just before the ammo compound. By noon, they had spread out to graze in the pasture near ///model.unveils.tastier.
Despite being wet, the ponies were very friendly and enjoyed lots of strokes, especially on their necks and backs. They quickly started to dry off and looked happy, relaxed and in good condition.
The yearlings, who had been grazing deep in the thicket, came out to the area near ///envy.starfish.brink around 12:40. They were quite wet but continued to graze, enjoying plenty of heather and leaves from the bushes and trees. They didn’t seem bothered by the deep puddles, making their way through them to reach the tastiest leaves. The boys all looked well.
When I returned to see the ponies at 13:00, they had regrouped and were grazing near ///stiff.onion.flickers. A few came over for more strokes before I said my goodbyes.
The cows and the ponies were all good today.
