The yearlings were grazing in the bushes near ///strut.class.scrubber at 13:50 this afternoon. Before long, they began to emerge and slowly approached to say hello and give me a few sniffs. The boys were all happy, relaxed and looking well. After greeting me, they went back to grazing, enjoying some grass. A heavy shower around 14:10 sent them quickly back under the trees by the road, where they began foraging for acorns. They were happy for me to wait with them until the rain stopped.
The ponies were all found near the ammo compound at 14:25. Soon after I arrived, there was another heavy shower, leaving them rather damp. Even so, they were very friendly, each coming over to greet me and enjoying plenty of strokes. They seemed delighted to have a visitor, showing lots of affection with head rubs, nuzzles and licks. I even got a few friendly nickers.
As the ponies continued grazing in the surrounding area, they took turns coming back over for more strokes. They dried off quickly and enjoyed ear, neck and back rubs. They were all super relaxed and looking really well.
The group had crossed over the path and began grazing near ///bleak.tour.stems by 15:45. Most wandered into the thicket, but a few remained out in the open, munching on grass. They came over for some final strokes before I said my goodbyes around 16:10.
The cows and the ponies were all good today.
