I received a warm welcome when I arrived at 15:35 this afternoon. One of the ponies greeted me just beyond the gate and came over to say hello. Two more ponies soon emerged from the wooded area behind her and joined us for neck and back rubs. All three were very friendly. Afterwards, they began grazing in the surrounding area. The ponies looked really well.
At 15:55, the other three ponies were happily grazing in the swampy area by the duck pond near ///piled.case.rated. One of the ponies from the first group had wet feet, which revealed their likely location. The ponies were thoroughly enjoying the long grass. Despite the challenging conditions, all three waded through the marsh to come and see me and enjoyed back rubs while continuing to graze.
At around 16:20, there was a loud neigh from one of the ponies in the first group. They were obviously curious about what the others were doing. Soon after, all three stopped grazing and wandered through the thicket to rejoin the rest. The ponies then began grazing together by the side of the path. Several of them came over for more strokes. After saying my goodbyes at 16:40, a couple of ponies followed me to the exit gate and stayed with me for a while before I had to leave.
The ponies were all good today.
