Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Sun 25 May 25 (11.15 - 11.30) All Four Seen in H5. All OK.

     Like yesterday, I found them quite easily, (unusually for when I bring friends with me and I'm on foot).

    They were busily grazing on the lush grass available in the middle of the open ground between the two main E-W tracks.

    We walked over to them and took photos, but grazing was far too important to them to be interrupted for scratches and stroke from the "loikes" of us.  We stayed with them circling and taking photos for about 15 mins before leaving.   They all looked well and content.

    As we left they were generally heading SE.

      Zoe..... Two questions, (& I suppose the 2nd Q is for all "Lookers" at Hawley. 1. Do you know when the ponies are likely to return. and 2. How do we feel about all of the Hawley "Lookers" inc Zoe meeting up for a coffee and a chat? Either at Hawley Common or at the Crown & Cushion or the Cafe at Blackbushe Airport for example.
