Welcome to the Hawley Common Lookers' Blog: Wednesday 22nd cows in F4/5 and ponies in E6/F6E7

Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

Call the office on 01256 381190.
If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

Thank you!

Wednesday 22nd cows in F4/5 and ponies in E6/F6E7

All seen eventually this morning.

Found 3 of the boys first..couldn’t find J’Adore but on the walk back after finding the ponies he was there with Jet close to the corral work. I think they have got a bit close to the vans as I heard them being shooed away after we had left the area!

Found Davinia the silver flecked pony and a black one around the ammo dump. The silver one did a bit of running around and neighing..we followed her and found everyone else. Polly and another one deep in the gorse.

All looking fine
