Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

Call the office on 01256 381190.
If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

Monday 6th October all 12 seen

Found the ponies easily in D6 11.16 all very focused on grazing but a few including the old pony had a stroke.

Could see cows an app but there seems to be a delay. Found Jet deep in H3 in the bushes/boggy area. Followed him out onto the track to bump into Tony and 2 other cows in the fern with Jet. We could hear the other one still on the other side.

Had a catch up with Tony and Ziggy took me back into the fern and found J’Adore followed by Jeans then Jet and Jura all together scattered over G3/G4 at 12.13. They all look fine

Then found the ponies again in F4/5 in the way home again all looking fine and enjoying the sun
