Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Wednesday 12th - Afternoon

Found the cows chewing the cud at ///filed.backtrack.coughed  They all appeared well and were happy to have a head rub

Finally found 5 of the ponies at ///overpaid.education.hints  All had a good bit of fuss made of them before they resumed eating.  Polly stood with me for a long time, think she almost dozed off!

Had a good look round for the other 3 but couldn't see them.  A dog walker came by and said they had seen the others down by the entrance gate.   I headed off down the track and the other 3 appeared and walked up towards me.  They were interested in the contents of a walkers rucksack, turns out he had a cheese sandwich in it.

After a while the group of 5 came trotting down the track and I left as they all meandered off into the scrub.

    All ponies looked well.
