Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

Fri 16 Jan 26. (midday ish) All 11 Seen. All Appear OK.

I arrived as Zoe was departing in her pickup.  The cattle were in D6, just south of the pits and to the west of the ammo dump compound.  They were all finishing off the snack that Zoe had left and having a bit of a push & shove.  I took a photo of the four of them, but lost it in transfer to my laptop.

I found six of the ponies in F5, spread out along the SW edge of the sandy paddock on the other side of the ammo dump compound from the cattle.  One was inside the paddock.

    Friday 2 Oct 26. (11.00 - 11.15) All 3 Seen in H6. All Well.

All three were grazing just ten yards north of the main sandy track.  No drooling and all were moving OK.
